Is your phone really answered 24/7?
It is. Someone picks up at every hour, Sundays and Christmas included. When smoke is filling a room, a cap has blown off in the wind or an animal is trapped, we can get someone out right away.
Should I have my chimney inspected after a nearby wildfire?
Yes, before you use the fireplace again. Ash and debris can collect in the flue and smoke chamber, and heat can damage caps and liners. A sweep and camera inspection confirm it's safe and document anything for insurance.
Can you repair a used-brick or slumpstone fireplace without changing its look?
Yes. We match brick and block, tint mortar to blend with the original, and keep the rough, rustic texture these 1960s–70s fireplaces are known for.
Is switching our old fireplace over to gas possible?
In most homes, yes. After a sweep and inspection we prepare the firebox, secure the damper open or reline the flue when the appliance calls for it, then set the log set or insert. A licensed plumber runs the gas supply.
Do you build outdoor fireplaces?
We do: gas or wood, in stucco, stone or brick. We help with siting, HOA approval and any city permits.
Could my chimney still have earthquake damage?
Possibly. Many Conejo chimneys took hidden cracks in past quakes, including 1994's Northridge earthquake. A camera inspection of the flue is the best way to find them.
